  3. We have a unique choice of SCUBA diving in Two Oceans
  4. Boat or shore entry dives
  5. We have the best Wreck SCUBA Diving in the country

  1. Isn’t the water too cold to SCUBA dive?

    a. Yes we have cold water but a good diver is equipped with equipment suitable to prevent the cold from having any major impact.

  2. What type of equipment will I need to SCUBA dive in Cape Town?

    a. The best combination is a 5 or 7mm one piece wetsuit with a tunic style jacket of the same thickness that is worn over the top. This offers good flexibility where one can be adwequetly protected in cold water but also offer the option of only using the one – piece suit in warmer waters.

    b. Open Heeled fins with booties, a Neoprene dive hoodie and 3mm gloves will keep the rest of the extremities protected.

  3. What about Sharks when SCUBA diving?

    a. Honestly speaking, they are a very small threat and divers are diving with Tiger and other Sharks on a daily basis, especially of the KZN coast. To misquote a famous fish: “Divers are friends, not food”.

One commonly quoted statistic to show how slim your chance is to experience an attacks is that you have a bigger chance being killed by a falling coconut.

    b. Official statistics in the USA prove that your chances of being killed by a Shark vs Cycling is one to one thousand. (

    c. Divers are some of the main shark conservationists .
